The Texas Supreme Court has issued the Forty-Fourth Emergency Order Regarding the COVID-19 State of Disaster that renews as amended the rules to be followed prior to any residential eviction of a tenant on the nonpayment of rent. This Order was effective as of November 10 and expires January 1, 2022, unless extended.
