Eric Findlay

Eric Findlay - Attorney Tyler Texas Mr. Findlay is a trial lawyer. He brings over 15 years of litigation and trial experience to every matter he handles. After beginning his legal career in Michigan, he was admitted to practice in Texas in 1994.

Eric has tried over a dozen cases to jury verdict in recent years. Though Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law, his experience covers commercial litigation as well, including patent litigation, licensing issues, contract disputes and Internet and Cyberlaw issues. Patent litigation in the Eastern District currently accounts for much of Mr. Findlay’s practice. Eric has represented a wide range of clients in dozens of patent cases in Tyler, Marshall, Texarkana, and Lufkin. With an intimate knowledge of both the local rules and the district’s patent rules, he is uniquely suited to guide companies and individuals through patent litigation in the Eastern District of Texas.

In addition to patent litigation, Mr. Findlay also enjoys a fast growing practice in commercial and business dispute litigation. Representing both plaintiffs and defendants he aggressively investigates and pursues each case with an eye to quick resolution wherever possible, but with the knowledge and experience to prepare each case for a successful trial.
